Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga is the traditional yoga. We always begin class with the opening chant. This sequence always stays the same; starting with 5 rounds of Sun Salutations A & B, the standing series, floor, and closing sequence. We cover the Tristana method; Ujjayi breathing, the bandhas (energetic locks), and drsti (gaze).
